1952 – Dec Born in New Zealand. Age 12 – started painting in oils
1966 – Age 14. Became working member of Northland Society of Arts
Exhibited regularly at the Whangarei Art Gallery
1968 – Two paintings included in a touring exhibition of New Zealand
1969 – Painted a 17m x 4m (52ft x 1211) mural inside the library at Kamo High School, Whangarei
1971 -Northland representative at NZ Secondary Schools Art Workshop held in Wellington
1972 – Attended Elam School of Fine-Arts, University of Auckland
1975 – Solo Exhibition at Reyburn House Art Gallery – Whangarei
1977 – Painting included in ‘Young Contemporaries Exhibition’ at the Auckland City Art Gallery
1977 – 1st prize Holmwood Portrait Award, Auckland.
1978 – Solo exhibition at Reyburn House Art Gallery – Whangarei
1979 – Painted a double mural of trees — each wall being 4m x 4m (12ft x lift), inside Aulsebrooks Factory in Auckland
